Founded in 1994 by Kevin J. Loftus, Loftus Construction, Inc. has, since its inception, been focused on completing difficult, heavily-engineered projects requiring an innovative aggressive approach. Participation on such noteworthy project as the Exton Bypass and the Philadelphia Art Museum Step Reconstruction enabled the firm to develop a comprehensive balance of experience and profitability, creating a stronger firm, better prepared for future challenges. In 1997, Carmen J. Valerio, PE joined the firm to manage its operations, allowing Mr. Loftus to focus on procurement and overall management, thereby strengthening the entire company. Gaining Prequalification from PennDOT and NJDOT in 1997 for the first time also opened additional markets to the firm.

Since 1997, Loftus Construction, Inc. has found success in its ability to provide Value Engineering and Design-Build Services to its clients, reducing cost and actual construction time. Successful completion of heavy construction projects for clients such as PennDOT, SEPTA, NJ Transit, Burlington County Bridge Commission, City of Philadelphia, amongst others has enhanced the firm's level of expertise and better prepared it for upcoming challenges. Successful completion of Design-Build Projects for clients such as PennDOT, Brandywine Realty Trust, Heritage Building Group, and PA DCNR has given the firm an opportunity to apply its expertise and provide the client with a cost effective, high quality project.
